The Process

Initial Meeting

Meet with our New Muslim coordinator to discuss your journey and answer any questions.

Shahadah (if ready)

Take your Shahadah in front of witnesses at the masjid and be welcomed into the community.

Mentor Matching

Be paired with a Muslim mentor of similar background for one-on-one guidance and support.

Foundational Classes

Attend introductory classes covering Islamic beliefs, prayer, and daily practice.

Community Integration

Join community events, study circles, and activities to build meaningful connections.

Continued Support

Ongoing check-ins and access to resources as you grow in your faith journey.

FAQ

Do I have to take Shahadah at the masjid?

No, you can take Shahadah wherever feels comfortable. We can facilitate it at the masjid if you wish.

Is support available in languages other than English?

We have community members who speak various languages. Contact us and we will do our best to match you with a suitable mentor.

Is the support confidential?

Yes, all conversations with our coordinators and mentors are kept completely confidential.
